Refined Hell

"Hell is a place where bad people go" is the answer of any 6-year old child asked about the definition of hell... the rest is all unknown.

I have never asked myself about hell before.Maybe it was because it seemed frightening. It now seemes even more frightening.I thought that hell was like a living volcano, burning you from the inside, totureing you with its pitchforks.I thought of hell as a savage world that knows no boundries, where screams of terror, of blame, of mercy and helo echoed everywhere, but remained chained, silent from its counterpart of devine happiness and joy that our worldly minds could not acknowledge.

Hell exists since the day Lucifer had fallen hence Satan, ruler of the underworld. That is about ∞ years ... That's quite the time from my point of view. And maybe they had begun with the plan that simply involved physical suffering, torture, etc. etc. But as people became smarter and wiser, so did they... Just like barbarians that have slowly vanished. As ruler of all things that are bad, Satan must have thought of something more ... subtle? than violence.

I belive hell is ... your mind.
I belive hell has changed its doctrine. From physical torture to psihycal torment. Haven't they realised that your mind causes more pain than your body? Haven't they realised that guilt is more of an abyss than a blow to the chest? Ok ... I know that all these come just even if you are in Hell. But my point is that they must have focused on ... fears. Mind dominates body!
I belive hell is ...you ... living your own fear ... forever......Your personal hell.

Like a man that cannot stand lonliness or beeing bored should be placed in a colorless world, no sky, no ground, with "nothing" surrounding him forever walking alone.
Like a woman whose worst fear are spiders should be placed in a spider's lair webbed and be forever surrounded by her eight legged horrors.
Like a claustrofobic person beeing put in nothing more than a box.

And as they had the power of making flesh continiously suffer , they can have the power to make your fear just like in the first moment you met your everlastingness repay for the things you did in your life.

Hell could be compared to wine. The longer it lasts the "better" it gets.
